Finance made simple

Flexible personal loans for every stage of life

Funding for renovations, weddings or unexpected expenses - with transparent terms and no surprises.

Finance that works around you

Borrowing should feel straightforward, not stressful. Our job is to match the loan to your life - not the other way around.

  • Borrow what you actually need

From $1,000 up to $200,000 through our panel. We help you size the loan to your situation and your budget - never to a sales target.

  • One enquiry, a whole panel

Instead of applying lender by lender, you talk to us once. We match your situation to the lenders most likely to say yes on good terms.

  • The full cost, up front

Before you sign anything you'll see the repayment, the term, the fees and the total cost - laid out in plain English.

  • Repayments on your pay cycle

Weekly, fortnightly or monthly - most lenders let you line repayments up with the day you get paid, which makes budgeting far easier.

  • An answer without the wait

Most enquiries hear back from us within one business day, so you're never left wondering where things are at.

  • Real people, individual assessment

A specialist reads your application - your income, your commitments, your story. A number on a credit file is never the whole picture.

What can you use a personal loan for?

Almost any genuine personal expense can be financed. Common reasons Kiwis come to us include:

  • Renovating or repairing the house
  • Medical and dental bills
  • Study fees and course costs
  • A wedding or family milestone
  • Travel and time away
  • Replacing whiteware or furniture
  • New tech and appliances
  • Urgent, unplanned expenses
  • Vehicle repairs
  • A purchase you'd rather not put on the credit card

If your reason isn't on the list, just ask - if it's a legitimate personal expense, chances are we can arrange finance for it.

How personal loans work

You borrow a fixed amount, then pay it back in regular instalments over an agreed term - with us, typically one to five years. The repayment stays predictable, so it's easy to plan around.

Loans can be unsecured, or secured against an asset such as a vehicle. Secured lending usually attracts a lower rate because the lender carries less risk. Your rate and borrowing limit come down to your income, commitments and credit profile.

Every lender we work with is bound by New Zealand's responsible lending rules, and so are we - we'll only put an option in front of you if the repayments genuinely look manageable.

Our application process

Four straightforward steps from first enquiry to funds in hand.

  1. Submit your application

Complete our simple online enquiry with your personal and financial details.

  2. We assess your needs

Our finance specialists review your application and identify lending options that may suit your circumstances.

  3. Receive your loan offer

If approved, we'll explain your available options, including repayment terms and any applicable fees.

  4. Access your funds

Once your loan documentation is completed and approved by the lender, your funds can be released according to the lender's process.

Frequently asked questions

The things people most often ask about personal loans.

What's the difference between a secured and an unsecured loan?

A secured loan is backed by an asset - often a vehicle - which usually earns you a lower rate, but the lender can repossess the asset if the loan isn't repaid. An unsecured loan has no asset attached, so approval leans more heavily on your income and credit history. We'll tell you which one suits your situation.

How much can I borrow?

Our panel arranges personal loans from $1,000 up to $200,000. Where you land in that range depends on your income, your commitments and your credit profile - we'll give you a realistic figure early on, before you get your hopes set on a number.

Will shopping around damage my credit score?

It can. Every direct application usually puts a hard enquiry on your credit file, and a burst of them makes lenders nervous. Going through a broker avoids that: you enquire once with us, and we approach the lender we think is the right fit - not all of them at once.

How quickly will I get an answer?

We usually come back to you within one business day of receiving your details. Lender approval times vary, but we keep your application moving and keep you posted at each step.

Can I pay the loan off early?

Usually, yes - and it can save you a decent amount of interest. Some lenders charge an early-repayment fee, so we check the fine print and tell you exactly where you stand before you accept an offer.

What do I need to apply?

Photo ID (driver licence or passport), proof of income such as recent payslips, and your last 90 days of bank statements. Depending on the lender, the odd extra document may be requested - we'll give you the full list up front so there are no surprises.
